Gryffindor Nails

Part of the Gryffindor team? Do you want your nails to show off your daring nerve and chivalry? Then do as follows! Get yourself a solid red base coat and wait for it to dry completely. Then grab a gold glitter polish and apply. There you’ve got it – lion nails!

Slytherin Nails

Are you a cunning leader full of ambition and resourcefulness? In that case you need to go for the Slytherin look, as evil as it mean seem – the look’s a killer! Apply two shades of dark green nail polish and wait for it to dry. Then apply a stripe of silver nail polish on the tip of each nail – a bit like a frenchie. Lastly, get a a silver crackle as shown in the pic and paint on top of it all. Perfectly evil!

Ravenclaw Nails

“Wit beyond measure is man’s greatest treasure!” Are you an intellectual, full of creativity and wit? Then you must belong to the Ravenclaw house.

Here’s how to get the look: start with a nice base coat (obviously). Allow for it to dry and paint on five dark blue diagonal stripes. (A little tip: a good way to do this is to rest your finger on a table and rotate your finger instead of the nail varnish brush – less messy and works a lot better!). Next step – wait for it to dry. Get a glitter striper or a thin makeup brush and get your silvery glitter stripes drawn on. Bronze is also an option!

Hufflepuff Nails

“Those patient Hufflepuffs are true and unafraid of toil.” Too true. Even though hufflepuffs value hard work, patience, justice and loyalty – the good thing is you don’t have to be too patient to get your nails done hufflepuff style as the process is quite simply really. Get a nice yellow base coat. Do it twice to get the colours even more vibrant. Then wait for your nail to dry and get a black striper. You know what to do next – paint a simple line down the middle of your nail – and there you have it – nails hufflepuff style – just remember never to tickle a sleeping dragon!
